The Festival aims to present the best of what is new and current in music of Latin origin and has given UK debuts to many artists such as Seu Jorge, Pink Martini, Gotan Project and Kinky. We regularly present shows from small bars to the largest concert halls and also present many world class musicians from other genres.Ĭomo No founded La Linea – The London Latin Music Festival – in 2001 and has presented this annual event in venues across central London each April since then. Since we began in 1986 we’ve presented the who’s who of Latin Music from Celia Cruz to Calle 13 and from Mercedes Sosa to Bomba Estereo via every Buena Vista permutation from Compay Segundo to Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club taking in hundreds of shows from the likes of Juan Luis Guerra, Ruben Blades, Willie Colon. Our primary focus is on performers rooted in Latin America but generally we work with artists that we like in any field. We are based in West Yorkshire but are fully independent, with our own transport and top of the range P.A.Ĭomo No is a producer of live events based in London. We are currently available for festivals, functions, salsa events and any occasion that calls for top quality music. He now leads this tight ensemble fusing an infectious Latin percussion section with the jazz sensibilities of a stonking quadruple-horn front-line.
Moving to UK, he has played with many top UK latin bands. The band consists of 5 horns, 3 percussionists, keyboard, bass and Cuban vocalist.īourbon Y Tequila play mainly original tunes with a dash of Salsa classics thrown in for good measure and their sets are rapidly earning them an impressive reputation with audiences around the UK and Europe.Įnrico Marchesi is a graduate of the Bergamo and Rome Conservatoire, and has performed with many luminaries including the jazz legend Sonny Rollins.
